Workshops 25/26

During this theater year we will organize various workshops that have a connection with theater. Next year we have five different workshops planned so take a look at what appeals to you the most!

Theater tech workshop - 11th/12th of January

This workshop will be about the basics of theatre tech. During the workshop, attention is paid to both light and sound tech. You can think of how different lights and effects affect the overall picture. What can you do to make a scene exciting or intimate? And what could you do to help actors from your position as a technician?

Writing workshop - 26th of January

During the writing workshop we will, spread over several evenings, work on writing a theater piece. It doesn't matter if you only have a vague idea, or already have a first draft, anyone can join! We start with a general introduction evening and will then discuss our progress and exchange tips every month. In between, we cover theory that can help you come up with, structure, and write your piece, so that you have a full script at the end of the workshop

Movie acting workshop - 9th of February

Have you always wanted to act in front of a camera, but don't know what to look for? In the movie acting workshop, we will work together with an actress and a camera to not only learn about what movie acting entails, but also to practice in front of the camera. If you are interested in participating in a 48hour film project, this can be a nice introduction to movie acting!

Singing workshop - 23rd of March

If you like music/singing or would like to know how to use your voice better, then join the singing workshop! During this workshop we will work on learning how to use your (singing) voice and how you can use it in a good and healthy way. Of course we will also just sing together!

Dancing workshop - 27th April

Nobody has two left legs, so if you have ever wanted to learn to dance in an accessible way, come and join the dance workshop! Together with dance instructors, we will look at how you can use your body while dancing.
